Giusi Velloni Through vivid and unexpected colors, Giusi Velloni explores the ancestral bond between man and nature, entrusting animals with the role of authentic messengers of a lost balance. Growing up among paints and brushes alongside her father, a decorator, Giusi Velloni absorbed his passion for color and texture and decided to pursue art studies. She then attended, for several years, the studio of Maestro Marco Balucani, where she explored the traditional techniques of fresco and oil on canvas. During this period, she developed a profound dedication to oil painting, which allowed her to fully express herself through shades, impastos, and glazes, creating works destined to last over time. She then spent two years exclusively dedicating herself to the faithful reproduction of works by the great masters, from Georges del Tour to Perugino, and even Caravaggio, her favorite artist. This intense period of study allowed her to acquire such mastery of the oil technique that she could develop a personal language and give life to her own original works. Thus began her first production dedicated to animals, which would become the exclusive protagonists of her works.A passion for these creatures began when, as a child, leaving the city to spend summer holidays on her grandparents' farm, she spent entire days in that magical place surrounded by greenery, breathing in the scent of nature and more; in fact, it was precisely here that she came into close contact with the animals that lived on the farm, but also with the wild creatures she encountered during her walks in the woods. It was precisely this combination of simple and authentic moments that sparked her great passion for the natural world. In 2016, she opened her own studio in the city where she creates and exhibits her own works. Here, she began collaborating with other artists, organizing exhibitions and painting courses.
