Paolo Rossetto was born on June 6, 1968, in Bolzano, under the sign of art. He began drawing as a child, copying images of female faces from comics and fashion magazines, later combining them with natural elements such as trees and leaves.
Following the instinct for freedom common to many artists, he abandoned his accounting studies and decided to devote himself to painting. Initially, his works focused primarily on landscapes and still lifes, using a figurative language that later evolved into a surrealist language (the art of the fantastic).
He attended the State Art Institute in Trento, where he graduated in 1990 with a Master of Applied Arts degree. After graduating from high school, he turned to surrealism, creating a blend of the real and the surreal, perfecting his attention to detail and painting techniques over the years. During his travels in Italy and abroad, he visited museums and artists' studios, developing his sensitivity to art. Thus began his love for drawing.
The highlights of his artistic career can be summarized by his participation in the following art exhibitions and several awards:
• "ARTinGENIO Museum," Officine Garibaldi – Pisa, where his work is part of the permanent collection, and he has been a member of the museum since 2022.
• "IV Triennial Exhibition of Visual Arts," Palazzo Borghese and La Sapienza University – Rome, with the works "Harmonic Balance" (2021) and "Crisalide" (2014).
• 58th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale, with the work "Harmonic Balance," where he received a plaque of recognition for artistic merit (2019).
• Member of the Museo della Permanente in Milan since 2007.
